Anyone going through the same? I spend 24/7 with my baby pretty much and started to notice that when there are other people around my baby girl leaves my side and goes to others asking to be picked up? She never really wants to play with other males apart from her daddy but pretty much she goes to any other woman even if she hasn't met that person before? It's just a bit sad that I feel like she doesn't need me 😞

How was your pregnancy with her like? Honestly I think she could just be curious around other people and social girly but knows who her mommy is

I feel you! I guess they get a bit bored of the same face all day long and want to interact with others when given the opportunity. My boy loves his granddad and doesn't care for me or his dad once he comes home from work, he also ends up just going over to literally anyone but me at any baby group we go to, but in any case will always happily come to me for comforting etc

And to add, your baby will always need you! They're at a stage where they want to learn as much as they can and explore their surroundings and this includes wanting to play with other people.
my pregnancy was hard as she is my rainbow baby and I developed gestational diabetes and preeclampsia but as hard as it was she was very much loved and wanted. She's had a phase where she didn't even want daddy (this lasted months he couldn't even feed her). I think I just got used to being her main person and felt like I was her favourite but since she's started crawling this started to happen and I can't help it to stop feeling a bit unwanted
as bad as it sounds I am happy to hear I am not the only one.. it's just hard to see many posts about babies and that won't leave their mums alone so I feel like I must be doing something wrong? Just silly thoughts that go through my mind sometimes I know that she needs me and need to adapt to this new phase ❤️

I think it’s a sign that your baby does actually have a secure attachment to you! It’s a good thing. It means she trusts you to keep her safe and she knows you’ll be there. I know the feeling though. My best friend had her yesterday for the whole day and she didn’t miss me at all 😂 but it just shows you’re doing a good job
thank you it's so nice to read your kind words ❤️
