Hi mamas🤍, How do you know when you’ve lost your mucus plug? Is it like a thick discharge or could you potentially lose it when you pee? In my last trimester and I know it could happen within the next few weeks so want to be prepared x

Losing your mucus plug means nothing, as labor can happen weeks after that. I lost my mucus plug and had my bloody show and didn't have my son for another week or 2

The mucous plug is slimy and can be bloody or not bloody. Nonetheless it isn’t a sign of labour and it can grow back. I’ve been losing pieces of it since 16 weeks and started preterm labour with very little progression at 31+4.

lmao I was determined to find good descriptions for things bc I felt like the whole time I been pregnant nobody really knew the answers to my questions lmao.

Lost my mucus plug at 35 weeks and he didn’t come out til 40 weeks and 5 days and even then I was induced lol. So he probably would’ve been in there longer if not for me losing fluid

It's like a wad of snot.. its gross!

Have a look online at a few so you get an idea hun xx I thought I missed mine, but it came out a few days before birth. It's very obvious when you see it, but kinda hard to explain.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Worth the wait and pain. Baby girl arrived at 7:15 this am weighing 7lbs 6oz. She is so calm and chill.

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !

Growth scan

So had my 28 week midwife appointment- all good but after measuring bump- I’m now waiting on a scan within a few days as bump is measuring small I’m not worried as I am guessing a tape measure is hardly accurate but
For anyone who has been in a similar position- what was the outcome after the scan? Was the baby on the smaller side ?
Was baby measuring normal?
