Try, try and try again 😅 I've tried 1 bottle, every day for a week now. There is very slow improvement, but I'll keep trying 🤞 I've been feeding him when I spot those early cues, not when he's hungry and frustrated. I also often distract him, like feeding on the play mat on in front of the TV (don't judge me). I've been advised to encourage others to feed him, not the lady that smells like milk. But that's easier said than done when my other half works 12hours a day.

I tried Tommee Tippee with expressed milk for the first time yesterday, he took it much better than I anticipated but I’ve noticed he likes the milk hot!

Today he was curious about the bottle and wanted to touch it, and he wanted to swish the teat around his mouth. But that's improvement 🤭 plus his bib wasn't soaked through, so that's a plus! It's going somewhere then 😅

I’ve been trying to get mine to take one for over a month… and still no joy!

My little girl will only take the bottle if it’s the very precise temperature of can’t feel the milk on my wrist. Took me ages to figure out the issue, turned out she was just fussy with temperature. Since then she swaps between breast and bottle no problem at all. Hope that helps for you, i suppose it’s just something new that they are finding their way around so it may take a little getting used to for them.

Feeling your pain!! Using MAM bottles, and no joy. Just sorted some Tommee Tippee bottles from FB marketplaces to try 🤷♀️ I like the comment about temperature…might try warming slightly x

My LG was really fussy with a bottle when we first tried with breast milk and was hit and miss if she'd take it, more often than not she wouldn't. I tried her with formula and she drained the bottle. I have since tried her with warm breastmilk and she took that no problem too! So think temperature was the problem. We use tommee tippee bottles with size 1 teat. She now has a formula bottle twice a day and all other feeds breastfed and she switches between the 2 no problem at all and takes the bottles from me happily. Keep persevering x

how do you warm the milk to that temperature please?

I put some not quite boiled water in a jug so the waters not boiling but still warm enough and then pop the bottle in the water. It can take a little longer in the drinking bottles so I’ll either use a storage bag or storage bottle as they seem to warm up quicker when baby is being fussy. I hope that helps. That’s what my midwife recommended I do to get it to a good temp for baby. Apparently cold milk isn’t very good on their delicate tummy’s x

Thank you so much!
