My baby girl is 2 weeks old and has just come out of hospital after having surgery for twisted bowels. She is absolutely fine now but I just can’t get rid of this anxiety that she’s going to get sick again. I am watching over her 24/7 to the point I’m so tired as I can’t sleep because I’m too scared to leave her alone. I have done all night feeds since as I’m too scared to let my husband do it incase he doesn’t notice if she gets poorly again. Everytime she is a little bit sick or after a bottle I’m watching her like a hawk. I can’t let her out my site but it’s now taking its toll on my mental health. How do I stop being so anxious😭

How you’re feeling is completely understandable 💕 I would try talking to your midwife team about mental health though and they should be able to find you some extra support.
