Keloid scar

Has anyone else got a keloid csection scar? I think I am prone to keloid scars but it’s really annoying, it’s still pink. I don’t think it will ever to white. I think it’s quite thick and raised and it still itches. I’m 12 months PP. I don’t think it will ever change now 😩

Yes ☹️ 9 months PP and mine is still very pink and a bit lumpy. The ends are quite flat, it’s the middle bit x

Mine turned into a keloid as well 😭. I’ve had a series of 3 keloid shots into the scar over the last couple of months & it’s helped to soften it just a bit. I’m giving it a few more months before trying a few more to soften it up some more. Shots also helped with the itch!

same with mine! I’ve got some silicone sheets to try and see if that will make any difference! 😒

I don’t think I’d dare have injections into it 🤣. I also have what feels like a ball of scar tissue on one side too!

I keep meaning to order some tbf. Do you massage yours?

no I haven’t been massaging it. I wasn’t sure if it would be effective at this point

I do

I use a cream called Strathadern it is working so good! It’s a silicone based cream I put it on every morning and night and I’ve seen a massive difference in redness and it’s still raised but not hard anymore! 100% reccomend it

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
