Has anyone else cut this from their kids diet?

I have been trying so hard to avoid it! It seems to be in everything though!

yes! she’s still crazy active, but I think she’s developmentally great. she loves to run, play, socialize, color, dance and forms her own sentences. I believe diet is extremely important so I try to keep her on a whole foods diet, eliminating anything that is processed

Yes! Honestly, we shop at Aldi. It has a TON of options with zero red dye and gives alternatives to name brands that always have it in their ingredient lists. Other stores like Walmart/wholefoods/kroger tend to be expensive when shopping for red dye alternatives.

I’ve actually found it really easy to avoid! He doesn’t eat candy or juice/soft drinks which I feel like is what I see it in the most. I went through every product in my house awhile ago out of curiosity & the only product that had it was my shaving gel ?? Weird 😅

I’ve started to.

Yeah I’m in the process! There’s an awesome Facebook group for it with guides

My son is allergic to red dye but he is still very hyper. He runs from the time he gets up to the time he goes to sleep. He’s also doing good developmentally where he talks, interacts, does colors, dances, counts, knows tons of animals and sounds 💗 my nieces and nephews did get red dye and they were great developmentally and physically as well

I completely avoid all artificial dyes. Most of them are banned in many developed countries

I don’t think my daughter has ever had anything with red dye 40 unless possibly by accident when we aren’t at home? We rarely, if ever, give her anything with artificial ingredients.

I have cut it out but on occasions if we’re out my family might get some of it. I know a lot of people on here have their own positions just be gentil with yourself and give yourself grace for whatever decision you decide to make.
