Hey ladies! So I’m currently 35w5d and had to go to the hospital last night due to contractions being 4.5 mins apart on average. The nurse mentioned to my husband that my amniotic fluid is a bit low on the ultrasound (while I was in the bathroom), but everything else came back fine.
When doctor checked me he said I’m 1 cm dilated, 70% effaced, and baby is at -3 station.
I was sent home but contractions haven’t stopped. Nurse told me before discharging me that the hospital I went to does not have a NICU so to not go back there before 37 weeks or the baby and I will be separated as she would need to be transferred to a hospital that does because she’s currently preterm. Part of me thinks maybe the nurse influenced the doctor a bit to send me home because of this, which I’m honestly grateful for because I had no idea whatsoever.
Should I go to a different hospital that has a NICU and see what they say or just stay home and wait till I’m at least 37 weeks and see how I feel?

Try a different hospital, you might like them better (the staff) plus better to be safe then sorry

We’re the contractions causing dilation? I’m in a similar situations expect I’ve been 5cm dilated since 35 weeks and 70% effaced since 29 weeks🥲

Try a different hospital cuz now days these hospitals be dumb

I’ve had 4 overnight hospital stays. Every time tho the labor stopped.

I never had a cervical check before and they only checked me once while being there last night so I’m not sure :/
It sounds like you’re closer to the finish line though! Congrats!
