She just will not settle will cry I pick her up and try and rock she cries I then put her down she cries she punches me and hits me. She makes herself overtired which is so upsetting and I don’t know what to do.

If she isn’t going to sleep at 6:30 then it sounds like that bedtime/routine isn’t working for you both, after 20 minutes bring back down and play to increase sleep pressure then try again when she’s showing tired cues. I try stretch my boy an extra 20 minutes awake so he has a good amount of pressure for sleep x

I thought it was abnormal that my baby didn’t go to sleep until much later like 10 o’clock, but as soon as you embrace it and just go with it and play with them it takes the being upset away because you don’t feel like you’re wasting your time and you don’t feel like you’re doing the wrong thing for baby. Just have to follow their lead for this phase I think

I think 6.30pm personally sounds much too early for bedtime. I would view this as a nap and do bedtime much later. Maybe try this for 3 days and see if it's having any impact? Try to stay consistent with your morning wake time as well, even if you've had a bad night and baby is sleeping nicely, wake them at the same time each day and bedtime should then be roughly 12 hours later. It's hard work but you're doing great and everything is just a phase, just try to remember it won't last forever 😊

Have you tried stroking her eyebrows? If I stroke my little one's eyebrows his eyes close, and if I do it enough times he gets sleepy trying to keep them open and eventually gives in and goes to sleep.

White noise helps to calm also. Have you tried a warm bath before bed too?
I try and make sure my little boy has 90-120mins wake time before bed.
We start bedtime at 615, and he’s asleep by 7-730. Last couple of days he has been sleeping til 7am, with 1 feed some nights xx
I’ve moved bedtime later and she sobs as she is so exhausted and overtired I tried doing bath an hour before so she could calm down she just sees nighttime as play and it’s not working

It might take a few days of trying the later bedtime for her to get used to it. Maybe stretch bedtime just for 15 minutes each night so its gradual
