Emergency C Section (Birth Trauma) Thread

I feel you! I had an emergency C-section on 10/6 after being in labor for 20 hours. I still can’t talk about it with out bursting into tears.

I can relate! I had an emergency C-section on 10/4 after a 22-hour labor! My due date wasn’t until 10/24. I went in to be induced on a Tuesday night. Wednesday night my doctor comes in and tells me that the baby heart rate is irregular and we had to have a C-section. It was very traumatic for my boyfriend and I. It is still very hard to talk about it! 🥺❤️

I feel the same way. It’s so hard to talk about. I was also in labor 20+ hours before which was so hard. 😖

I had a traumatic emergency c section after 6 days of labour. I tear up constantly and get flash backs a lot. Please know you are not the only one mama ❤️

Question- why are y’all going in to be induced? Why didn’t you let it happen naturally? Your bodies aren’t ready yet and the pit stressed the baby out and had to have an emergency c-section.

who said we had an induction? I didn’t. I went into labor naturally and still had to have an emergency c-section. Which is non of your business anyway. Let’s not shame/ blame moms who’ve had traumatic experiences.

ummm considering my water broke I think I went into labor naturally 🙄🤔

My OB scheduled my induction at 37 weeks because I had gestational hypertension and diabetes. I couldn't let it happen naturally..

always ones like you that take offense. Im asking a question? If you let it happen naturally and something happened and had to have an emergency c-section then it doesn’t apply to you does it?!!!

ok so in turn you didn’t ELECT for a c-section or to get induced cause u just wanted to choose the date. I was just past my 40 weeks and the doctor wanted to induce me i said no i will let it happen when it happens and went in to labor a day and a half later.
