Hi guys, my baby is only a month old…bf’ing hurt at first but after seeing lactation consultants and doing the “sandwhich” technique they stopped hurting for a few weeks.
Now this week they are feeling like dull achey/ touched out /raw and sore. They look perfectly fine but feel just kind of beat. I’m still doing the sandwich technique. I’m giving them hot showers and nice coconut oils and nipple balm and the silverettes but they still feel hurt. I also have used heat inserts in my bra.
Any other advice to make them feel better ?
Also, my right breast is like two sizes bigger than my left :((( should I only feed her on the smaller side for several days to try to even them out ??

If you fed on one side for a day or two you'd give yourself mastisis on the other side.
Was the Lactation Consultant you saw ibclc certified?
A dull ache could be a blocked duct. Either way breastfeeding shouldn't be painful. I'd see a Lactation Consultant again
It shouldn't hurt

My breasts get that way when my daughter nurses a ton in a single day, but otherwise overall it’s not a painful nursing experience (unless she bites me, because she has teeth). I alternate my breasts each feeding so that there isn’t too much of an imbalance, and my slacker boob is the bedtime boobie.
