Hey for those being induced / had an induction, are yous taking anything extra than the standard hospital bag list? Been told I could be in for quite the wait (a few days before going into labour) so seems logical I would take more with me no? Also, is there anything around the house I need to do before I go in hospital? I.e. when you got home was there anything you wish you did before baby was here

Before home I wish I took all my pre pregnancy clothes out including underwear … I’m nearly 4 weeks PP and no time to sort it out

Take things to keep you entertained it gets boring also snacks

I wish I had taken an induction specific bag!
My advice in hind sight is pack a small bag with induction specific stuff
- A couple of days of comfy clothes and underwear.(when my waters went I went through 3 pairs of underwear!)
- Maternity pads for if your waters break/are leaking. They want to keep an eye on the colour of your waters.
- Towel
- Lots of snacks
- Stuff to do - Book, magazine, download some films or TV show to your phone
- Head phones and eye mask - I was lucky enough to have a side room but some places you aren't
Have a a bag of essentials -deodorant, tooth brush etc that you can transfer between bags.
Then have your post delivery bag and the bag for the baby. You could leave them in the car/at home until you need them depending on your situation, I found my baby bag just took up room and had to be carted around everywhere - 5 different ward moves!. Easily could have been left in the car and partner popped out to get it when needed.

Haven’t had one but things like extra long charging cable, pillow for comfort, headphones and eye mask, snacks and things to keep you entertained and comfortable. Also flip flops as you’ll likely be wanting to walk about / have showers etc I’d imagine x
