Announcement boxes

I am a bit confused, are you gifting family members baby clothes for your baby?

@Charlotte no, there's just a baby grow/bib/booties in each box for people to open and get the idea 🙂 lots of people do this, got the idea from Pinterest etc. I don't mind if they do want to keep them though as keepsakes!

Yes, people work hard and earn their own money to do with as they choose! 😀 If you don't like a post, I would recommend scrolling on by, rather than leaving inflammatory comments - being kind costs nothing! 💸

omg I love this!! I did little promotion cards for everyone that said “congratulations! You’re being promoted to nanny/grandad/auntie/uncle/Godmummy” etc & then my work is probs my favourite announcement story. I’m an avid ‘friends’ fan and showed up to my last shift at the nursery before the Xmas break in a hoodie that said “the one where everyone finds out she’s p•r•e•g•n•a•n•t”. I was 15 weeks and had only just started to show but you couldn’t tell under my work uniform so everyone was gobsmacked 🤭🤣 xx

@Courtney awww I loved the "promoted" cards too, but already had the boxes and thought OTT to add cards aswell haha! Aww that's cute! My colleagues don't know at work yet, and I'm weirdly anxious to tell them haha! Xx

I love the box idea and it’s such a personal touch because you’ve made them yourself rather than ordering cards from a company like I did 🤣🤣!

I couldn’t wait to tell the girls at work because they’re literally like my family. It’s such an amazing nursery I work in and they were amazing! I told my managers the week after I found out (so would’ve only been 3 weeks) but only as I’d suffered a loss previously in 2020 so I wanted them to know in case I had to leave to go to hospital if I had any bleeding etc and they were amazingly supportive and kept it a secret which I loved!! 💙
