Private scans

When did you all go for private scans and got a nice little pic of your little one? Also when are they able to scan on your tummy rather than those uncomfortable vaginal scans x

I’ve had two private’s so far. They will use tummy at most places for their go to. If they can’t see anything properly they may go for internal. Window to the womb go straight for internal as view is much better but other places are tummy.
Private will let you record the heart beat and usually take away two photos. I find the internal scans fine especially when I know it’s like seeing your baby in HD in comparison to via the tummy. My advice is for private where it’s a tummy, no earlier than 7 weeks. I hardly saw anything at 6 but was much better at 7+5. That’s just my experience xx

I’ve had many private scans with my last pregnancy and had my first a few weeks ago with this one.
I believe they will do over abdo scans after 10 weeks but you can decline to have the vaginal one if you’d prefer an abdo one. Just be prepared not to see as much as you’d want as during the earlier weeks vaginal is better.
I went to window to the womb this time and I don’t rate it for what you pay and what you get. I paid £90 for a 15 minute scan with an unfriendly ultrasound tech and a blurry picture of my little bean. If I wanted extras I’d have to pay. And none of the pictures were good at all.
Also the code they gave me to get my report and pictures online was useless as not even the picture I picked was on there. Literally just a code for me to get rhe report.
I went to a place called ultrasound direct with my last pregnancy and they were so much better and nicer and cheaper

Ah this makes me nervous i have my scan on Wednesday at window to the womb I'll be 7+4

I’ve only had good feedback from window to the womb so don’t be fretting. This may have been a one off and specific scan tech x

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !
