3/5 engaged, is labour near?

Hi everyone! I’m 34+1 and had my midwife appointment today, she said I’m 3/5 engaged. I wasn’t anything at 32 weeks! Does this mean labour is near or will she just sit and relax in my pelvis for a while? Is anyone else had the same? This is my first baby so am a bit unsure what this means ☺️

it doesn’t mean labour is near, or far, especially at this stage it’s just how far into your pelvis baby is sitting.🥰

My baby has been 3/5 ingaged since 28 weeks, since yesterday she is 2/5 and im 38 weeks now. So it can still take a while xx

I’m 34+3 and 2/5 engaged and wondering the same as you 😬 and I passed some of my mucus plug last night. Other than lower back pain I don’t feel any different

They can be engaged for weeks

I'm 1/5 but that doesn't mean anything really. Baby can move in and out so this could change. It'll only mean labour once you start having symptoms.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !
