Hiya! since my little one was born I’ve always put sudocrem on him when changing, does anyone else do this for every nappy change? My family are telling me I don’t need too but I prefer too

I put bepanthen on at least twice a day for my boy. He’s never had any nappy rash and I think it works well as a preventative and barrier for any rubbing! Xx

I didn’t think I needed to until his 6 week check up and he had a fungal infection or something. The doctor said it was because I wasn’t putting cream on him everyday got given like thrush cream to fix it and ever since I always put sudocrem on him!

You don’t need to but if you want to bear in mind sudocrem have one cream for treatment another cream for protection so maybe check you are using the right one.

We do every morning/night and then if he’s looking a bit red, but not every change

I did with my first and then the cream would stop doing its job and would need stronger stuff. I'd advise to only use if needed xx

I've personally never put sudocream on my baby and he's never had nappy rash to date. Just do what you feel is right for you :)
