Membrane sweep

I don’t think any provider would do a sweep that early… baby isn’t full term 😬 I know pregnancy is hard and long but it’s best for baby to cook as long as possible.

mine offer it at 37 weeks

That’s crazy considering the baby would be early term

37 is considered full term by my ob. 36 and less is considered early

thank you for the chart but again 37 weeks up is considered full term by my ob and many others. Your due date is just an estimate not always accurate

The Labor and Delivery Nurse that ran our childbirth class said it's only about 25-35% effective and the earlier it is, the less it works. It's also pretty painful fyi in case your OB doesn't warn you. A friend of mine got swept 3 times because she was trying to do a vbac and they ended up doing a C-section at 40 weeks. I'm sure it has success that early though or your OB wouldn't even offer it! Good luck!
