I found out my husband was cheating yesterday, I made him pack and leave the same day. He’s from the uk and I’m from the Middle East. We’re gonna be applying for divorce very soon but my question is do I have to stay in the uk until the divorce is final? Can I just sign and leave? How does the split work if I don’t own anything? He got a house that he’s still paying mortgage for, car, pension stuff? I got my wedding gold only? And we have a 18 months old son?

I'm so sorry that happened, i don't have advice for you.im just her for support, we are both from middle east

If you're married with no prenup then you own 50% of whatever he owns. If you are primary caregiver then you may be entitled to more than 50% until your son is out of full time education. If you leave the country with your son that might reflect badly on you, because you would be taking him away from his Dad. You can usually get free introductory 30-60 minutes with a solicitor for legal advice - I would advise that to make sure you don't short change yourself.
If you have worked less due to your baby, then you are entitled to compensation for your sacrifice. However if your husband is not amenable to this then you'll have to go through courts which is expensive, but they're likely to award you more (if you're the primary caregiver) especially considering the circumstances of the split.
You will have to wait for quite a while (20 weeks maybe?) after applying for divorce before they do anything - this is so you don't just divorce 'on a whim' then change your mind.
How would me taking my baby with me to my home country would reflect badly on me? Will the judge say that I have to stay here? Will he be taken away from me?

You could be “charged” with child abduction, you can’t take a child out of the country for more than 90’days without permission from the other parent. Courts don’t care who cheated.
What if he agrees that the child go with me? I mean he already said that I’ll be taking him with me? Do I need to have a document that says he agrees on this?

Yes. I’d advise you to get everything in writing regarding you leaving the country.

I think kids suffer more. Not having a father in their life . I understand he cheated on you but the kid doesn’t have to pay the consequence and grow up without a father figure .

Come to an agreement and get it notarized, cheaper fastest way. That way you’re protected
