Our kiddo turned two today, we’ve had her party planned for months, and most people other than family cancelled last minute, so she had one kid show up. As a mom, this hurt me. But hurt me even more as a person because I hated it so bad.,😭

Wow that’s so irresponsible on their part!! But luckily she is 2 so she won’t really remember it, it’s important how you react to it, because you’re important to her not them. Well, I guess it’s time to find better friends 😄 I would maybe post to Facebook how everyone canceled last minute, or send everyone the same message saying that months effort and planing went into this Birthday and it would be more respectful if they canceled before or not accept a rsvp and not cancel the last minute, but not sure if you should do that or rise above it.

And Happy Birthday 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I am so so sorry! I would feel the same 💗 - I love birthdays.
You’re an awesome mom for planning something special for her to celebrate her on her day! That’s so valuable! 💓

I can understand this since my son shares the bday week with his cousins and no one could show up to his bday but everyone could show up to his cousin bday.
We had to cancel his bday party and attend theirs. I was a little sour about it but as a grown up I put into thinking that he would enjoy himself even if it wasn’t his party. We did something separate just us.
The most important thing is how you made your little one feel. I bet she had a blast! Most of the time it’s more important to us because it’s a memory we get to have the kids won’t even remember. HBD to her!
