My little girl is almost 5 months old and due to being a bigger baby and having large thighs Iām finding it difficult to get a good fit nappy! We used to love Sainsburyās, we sized up when we thought we needed to, up to size 4 which should cover to 30lbs but she is about 20lbs and they sit tight around the inside of her thighs and she can get red marks. Any recommendations for affordable nappies that are good for bigger babies?

I use Tesco and use the nappy pants from size 4. We're using 4+ now with my 4month old and 3yr old is in size 8 never had an issue with them x

No help but, How are you feeding?
My LO is 18.11 and health visitor has said that heās too big and to literally reduce his feeds. He is EBF š¤·š¼āāļøand has gone up by 3 centiles since birth

I'm going go to try size 4 pants as they sit differently, and if that doesn't work, then go up to size 5, but I thought I was the only one in this situationš¤£

@Teresa I wouldn't listen to the HV. If you reduce feeds baby will be hungry. There's nothing wrong with him being a bigger baby. He'll loose his baby weight ones he's active and on the move wouldn't worry! X

@Teresa, do not listen to that. Your son is eating perfectly fine!!! Both my boys are big boys and are perfectly healthy. My old hv told me I was over feeding my son, and then my new one said I should feed him more as he grows fast and is very active (this is my now 2 year old)

Aldi or Tesco are good

Tesco & boots are great I also have a big baby so completely understand ā¤ļø
thank you! I donāt want to just size up in Sainsburyās because Iāve tried that sometimes before and she just leaks because they may fit round her thigh area but now her waist. I guess itās like us, regardless of sizing up there is some brands that never fit me for clothes, thank you for your advice! ā¤ļø

thank you! Good idea, Sainsburyās definitely arenāt working for my girl anymore š
my girl is formula fed, she has had more at 3 months when she had a growth spurt than she does most days now! Our HV said thatās completely normal and sheāll take what she needs. I have no concerns of her weight, things will constantly change with her size and shape as she grows so she has what she needs each day. Often she eats less than my two friendās babies that are less than 2 weeks older. Iād always say take what a HV says with a pinch of salt and trust your instincts, every baby is different

The Asda little angels are good or the Lidl ones I find alright too x
