12 week vaccination - no appointments!

Hi ladies

My little one was due her 12 week jab (at 13 weeks old) last Thursday but unfortunately she took ill and had to be taken to hospital so I had to cancel. I rang up to book another one and they have nothing until the 9th of November when she’ll be 17.5 weeks! Receptionist insists there’s no other appointments at all until then

Is there anyone else I could contact to sort it? Maybe get them done at a clinic?

Thanks for any help!

Ask them whether they can link up with another surgery to get it done, or maybe try call 111?

Try your local family center 🤍

Double check, but I don't think it actually matters. My son had his 12 week vax 3 weeks late dur to illness and I checked and they said late was fine

I did think about ringing 111 but wasn’t sure if I’d get into trouble with it not being an urgent medical problem! But might give them a try thanks!

yeah it’s very frustrating! I’ll have to dig my HVs number as haven’t seen her in a while and she was supposed to be in touch ages ago haha

it probably doesn’t but I just worry with winter coming up etc! And would rather get it all sorted x

Hv is your best chance to get that sorted x

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
