does anyone have any tips on how to get my 15 month old to stop biting me? he does it randomly or when he’s super excited. and it HURTS. I always tell him no, but it’s all the time and he just doesn’t stop. he knows the word “no” and what it means, but he doesn’t listen to me very well 😅

I just had this talk with my pediatrician because my daughter loves to smack me in the face. She said to not give big reactions (yeah right it hurts) and to tell your LO it’s not okay and to set them down. 🤷🏼♀️

When my daughter does that, I tell her no and then give her something else to redirect her. There’s a little bit of improvement, but it’s always worse when she’s teething

Sounds like the same problem I have with my husband! Lol

My daughter does this for no apparent reason, and I say, "no biting, kisses please." She loves to give kisses and so it usually does the trick but it's a completely normal phase. Maybe find something your babe likes to do; high fives, fist bumps, etc. and request that behavior then praise it instead.
