My boys had this bun bun for nearly 3 years now and he’s hanging on by a thread. He’s been sewn multiple times but keeps coming apart in the wash, he gets upset when the blanket comes off the bunny. Does anyone know how I can sew it on really well, or would you say I should pay someone to do it? Or can anyone think of a way to attach the blanket on to the bunny another way? I’ve bought an exact replica last year but it’s not the same to him 🥺

I’ve found soaking their comforters in boiling water rather than washing them is better. My little boy has a muslin and honestly it’s tatty as hell and has holes in and I know it won’t survive another wash in the washing machine 😂 so I just soak in boiling water for about 15 mins then stick on radiator. Might keep it attached longer 🤞

I can never sew something on successfully and have it stay. Id be tempted to try Velcro strips at this point instead or paying someone and hoping for the best.
If you have to throw it in the washer I’d suggest trying a mesh bag inside a tied pillow case and hang to dry. I’ve also heard of you take the toy and put it in a bag with baking soda and shake it that it deals with the smell. I’ve never done it but it’s worth a google.

Velcro? Or attach like a cape?
