I’m just looking for ways to meal plan better. Currently I find recipes and then just pick one that I think I have time to cook, sometimes I’ll freeze somethings like a beef sauce for pasta/rice.
Just want to get more organised with it, so I was wondering what you all do?

I have a magnetic white border attached to my fridge, I shop once every 2 weeks. So I have it split into the 14 days. Before I go grocery shopping I write out the meals we are having for those 14 days, then I write my grocery shopping list according to those meals.

I also have a magnetic meal planner on my fridge. I always have an inventory on it for what meals I already have in the freezer and I then plan around that and also add in whatever meals I’d like to do for the week and then do a shop. I also plan things to batch cook/ make that might not be on that weeks meal rotation, just to freeze for other weeks.

My husband and I have a shared note on our phones, and we decide on meals for each day and put them in there. We use that to do our food shop so we’re only buying what we need. We do sometimes swap the meals over depending on what’s going on each day, but those are our meals for the week.
We keep a list of the favourite meals at the bottom of the note to copy and paste so we remember all of the good options that our son will also eat, as he eats the same as us.

I don’t meal but I try to batch cook then we will have that for a few days. We get a box of seasonal organic veg so I have to be flexible with what I cook and what needs to be used. But I make sure our pantry is stocked up with essentials so we can always make our regular meals. I am going to get a slow cooker on Black Friday so I can do that better. I hope that’s helpful xx
