Girls I am in agony- the hip/groin PGP is impacting every single thing I do. From sleep to work to even just watching tv Im in agony. I cant cope with this for another 8-10 weeks I am so upset. For anyone who has had it where its been unbearable- what did you do?? Baby is fine and I’m already in touch with a physio- what else can I do? Feel like there is no help out there for this? 😔
Ps anyone who had this in pregnancy before- how soon after birth did it go away?
This is ruining this happy exciting time of preparing for baby and our last two months ever as just us two! 😔😔😔

I got signed off sick from work and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done!! Felt super guilty but PGP is absolute hell and I could hardly walk after a few hours at work.
If you can I would definitely recommend, or maybe ask your employer to adjust your workload/ more sitting / more breaks / less hours? Physio also works & bouncing on a yoga ball 😊

I’ve been signed off work since 29 weeks with it and now on maternity leave! I use a yoga ball, rest as much as I can and use hot compresses on the area only things that take the pain away x

Feel your pain 100%, everything the girls above have said are great… I also started doing pregnancy yoga.. 1st session hurt like a b*tch but now it’s soo much better… I also got this belt a consultant recommended from Amazon babygo, I wear it at work and it’s been good so far!
Thanks girls, I feel at my wits end as Im already 3 weeks into using pregnancy belt, pregnancy yoga, bouncing on ball and doing exercises from the physio, also added in hot packs this evening for some short term relief. Only other thing I have seen was suggestion for chiropractor so will contact them…
I’m lucky I have an office job so not on feet much and only in office two days per week so cant really reduce much there. Guess I just never anticipated this kind of pain this early x

I’ve been seeing an osteopath for mine and honestly it’s amazing, it’s helped so much.

My friend was also suffering really bad and she went to an osteopath and she is barely in pain now!
