Breast pumps?

I looked at the capabilities of the ones available and decided based on which capabilities I wanted. The one I really want isn’t fully covered by insurance so I’ll see if I do end up getting it, but there are definitely many things to look for when choosing

I got the motif Luna (with insurance) with my first and loved it! I ended up buying the willow 3 because I wanted something wearable as well. I was also gifted the elvie curve collectors which I highly recommend to catch when nursing

Everyone was recommending the spectra s2 (4 years ago) and I loved it for at home pumping except that it wasn't adjustable for each side individually while double pumping. When I went back to work I wanted a wearable one because they are way more portable. I asked my doctor for another Rx so I could use insurance again and that covered about half of it at the time (about 6 mo post partum) I got the Elvie double set from Aeroflow. I continued pumping until little dude was 18 months old and we continued breast feeding until just before he was three.

This go around my plan is to first see if my elvies are sti working and replace the replaceable parts, but use insurance for either the elvie stride (and pay extra) trying out willow (paying even more extra) or a solid standard pump that allows me to control each side separately that will also be covered fully.

Just thinking about it now I cannot stress how much of a difference controlling each side separately can mean.
