I see some mommas who pump combine all of the milk they have pumped that day into one container (obviously after bringing it to the same temperature) and then just taking what they need for feeds as the day goes on.
Currently I add each pumping session to its own bag, date and time it and aim to give it to my LO around a similar time of day to when I pumped it - particularly at bedtime as I know night milk has more melatonin but I'm wondering how important this actually is? Cause if it doesn't make that much difference I might save the amount of bags I'm going through and do it the other way 😂

Tbh I mix it no matter the time

That sounds like a lot of bags. I didn't get much from each pump, at least, not enough to feed two babies comfortably.

I used to what you’re doing, feeding based on the time of day. But it eventually got too burdensome so I began mixing and it honestly made no difference.

Not too important to me. I keep a container of night milk and one of day milk. 🤷♀️ Seems a bit wasteful to bag it all every pump session unless I’m needing to freeze it!
