Looking for advice

My original scan I was meant to be 6+4 but you could only see the sac so they thought I was 4.5weeks, had a rescan 2 weeks later where I should have been 8+4 but if you go off my first scan picture I would only be 6.5 weeks, this scan showed a sac with a small baby with no heartbeat in and an empty sac behind that 1, this would be my 4th child (9miscarries) I usually have small babies and on 2 of my other scans from previous babies I got a heartbeat with a small baby at 7 weeks, I’m clutching on to straws here because the midwife who scanned me said she thinks it’s a missed miscarriage, she was trying to get me to take tablets to start the process off but I didn’t want to do that I wanted to wait and see what happens, I have a rescan on the 13th to see if baby has grown and got a heartbeat or if I am to start the medication, has anyone had a scan done at around 6 weeks and not got a heartbeat but went on to have a healthy baby? I wish i asked for the scan picture now but at the time i wasnt thinking straight

6 weeks is still so early to get a scan with a heartbeat. Some women don’t see their babies until at least 7 weeks. I would have done the same as you in all honesty. Let us know how you get on on 13th? Sending lots of luck x

Mine looks like this but baby had a HB. I think all you can do at this point is wait for the 13th by which point youll have a definite answer.

there was no baby in this picture as I was too early on in the pregnancy so they had me for a rescan 2 weeks later where it showed a small baby with no heartbeat but I honestly think she went off me being 8+4 and not knowing my previous scan was dating me backwards, I just wish I had my head screwed on when I look back now, I’ve looked back on scan photos from my previous successes and there’s not much difference in size of the baby at my scan yesterday to my scan with my daughter when she was 6+5, and she didn’t have a heartbeat then but did at my 8 week scan with her, it’s giving me a little bit of hope thinking maybe you just couldn’t see the heartbeat yet on this current pregnancy

All you can do is wait. It sucks but you can’t do anything really.

i really want another baby

i am merely a few months pp but i want another baby, but i am scared of the age gap (2 under 2) and also with everything going on in the world i just think its not the best idea at the moment but i am having crazy baby fever and miss having a newborn🥹

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Has anyone ever had pain in the bone at the bottom of the lady area?

How I can only describe it is I feel like I have a fracture or the bone is broken right at the bottom of my vagina bone obviously don’t think it’s to the extent but that’s how it feels. I had it in my last pregnancy and the pain went few months postpartum now it’s back again with this pregnancy. These are the results that u e googled I think I may have the first one has anyone every had this or something similar

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

20week scan!!

i had my 20week scan yesterday, everything looked okay on baby and we found out the gender!! it’s a girl 🩷🩷. but they said that my placenta is too close to my pelvis and they need to do extra scans to check on it? has anyone else been told this?
