Trying to find gestational snacks for during labour and after recovery in hospital that are not too high in sugar/carbs but to give boast of energy 🤔😅

So for during my induction I ate babybels, fridge raiders (in a cool box), Nairn’s choc chip cookies, some cocktails sausages and nut protein bar. In all honesty I didn’t touch any of it once in established labour. I was in pain and the last thing I wanted to do was eat which a lot of people say. Your adrenaline will do wonderful things to get baby out so I wouldn’t worry too much just try to have the snacks beforehand.
After labour I was allowed to eat as I did pre pregnancy so I took in some mcvities chocolate biscuits, Pringles and pain au chocolate 😅
Good luck ✨✨

I got GD as well and I'm not taking any snacks in, I'm going for a section so I won't be able to eat till afterwards anyways.
All the best mama! x
