Getting pregnant/ ovulation

You can still get pregnant and ovulate without a period. You probably just having started yet as hormones haven’t shifted from you BF.
My best friend was breastfeeding with no period and got pregnant.

The thing with periods, they come as a result of ovulating and not getting pregnant. So you won’t know if you have ovulated until you get your period, which is why some women fall pregnant before getting their first period. So if you don’t want to get pregnant yet, i’d use some form of birth control because you don’t know what your cycle is up to yet to do natural cycles. You could be ovulating right now for the first time and not realise. I hope that makes sense!

Having the same worry

I’ve used natural cycles for a few years now…are you still tracking your temps? I noticed with mine your temp will gradually decrease back to pre birth temp and that’s when you know your body’s getting ready to start ovulating again, it does take a few months I had a mini first period which was hardly anything so I didn’t really know if I should count it or not but I put it in the app and it was right for the next month. Me and husband were very careful though and basically used a condom until I was 100% sure I was back on track which wasn’t really until I had my next period, taking no risks here! 😂
