How are you treating mixed race/curly baby hair? My son’s hair is very long and slightly curly but starting to get dry and damaged as well as knotted. Are there any baby safe hair products for this age?

I use baby Shea moisture leave in detangler with coconut oil for shine. I use a mini paddle brush and comb out his every other day. Spray bottle will work great too.

Thank you!

-shea moisture leave in
-condition his hair when washing and let it sit while you are washing him
- detangle everyday
-try a bonnet at night

my baby is mixed as well and i noticed that if i use oil it’ll make her breakout and weigh down her hair
i say try the leave in alone first
if no improvement then try oil

I depends on what I want to do in his hair, so if I just want to leave his hair out and curly and for his ponytail I use a little bit of water and use shea moisturizer leave in conditioner, for his braids I use the shea moisturizer detangler.
Also here and there after his night time bath I put his shea moisturizer night time deep conditioner
When I wash his hair I also use their brand before I used aveeno shampoo but realized it left his hair drier

My son doesn't have mixed race hair, but he does have autism and cutting his hair is not an option. It's long and curly and I had a hard time managing it and finding good product for it. Everyone in this group is so kind and there are so many inspiring posts with great product recommendations.

I’ve tried the shes moisturizer and it doesn’t work. I don’t know what else to do

Thank you
