I was wondering how people are making formula to feed their little ones out and about? To this point I’ve just been making a fresh bottles right as we leave the house but I’m finding this difficult when needing to be out of the house slightly longer when it’s not drank within 2 hours, or sometimes he’ll drink that and then want more and I have to rush home. I know you get bottles of pre-made but he’s drinking 100+ml at a time so the bottles are way too small, and he’s so fussy about milk it has to be warm and he’ll just spit anything room temp out 😩

My girl drinks 7 0z so I fill bottle to 7 with boiled water , then I carry a powder dispenser pot so I can add the powder when she wants a bottle xxx

The water will be cooled but can always warm it up when you’re out xx

I have a thermos flask (amazing lasts over 12hrs well over 70oc) formula pots and a nuby. I do a hot shot method so I can use my nuby more than once whilst i’m out.
Bit of a full break how I do it and takes about 3/4mins.
Meausre out his 6ouz. Poor 2 ounces into the mam lid and rest into the nuby.
Let the nuby do its job whilst I mix my pre measured 6ouz into the hot shot. Once the nuby is ready pour into the mixed bottle.
All done & perfect temp every time.

Just bring the can of milk with you and put the water in a separate bottle so you don’t have to carry the jug. Being an auntie of formula babies, I always found it easier to make the bottles in the car when they were hungry. And They have portable bottle warmers that you could use to warm them up when needed.

I've been wondering the same thing as you! I've just ordered this https://amzn.eu/d/1NaOpUG haven't tried it yet but the reviews seem good. I was thinking of warming the bottle when out but like what if you're in a park or something where you literally can't

I either use a good quality thermos flask with boiling water in there, add it to my bottle as a hot shot, add the powder then add cooled boiled water that i put in a sterile bottle. Or i use the Nuby rapid cool

I fill up my bottles with water and then carry the amount of formula in a container to mix together later

MAM formula holder pot, an insulated flask of boiled water. This time we’ve also got Nuby rapid cool as well xx

I always make a flask of water and have formula with me too, so that when im out i dont need to worry.

Munchkin formula dispenser, you can get off Amazon, at target, and probably at Walmart. I would bring bottled water or just fill however many bottles she would typically eat in the timeframe we are planning on being out of the house + 1 extra bottle as a “just in case”.

I carry a flask but when i fill it up i leave the lid off whilst i get baby ready- pack her bag etc and then in that time the water cools down and is a good temperature i then put the lid on and put it in her bag. I use the powder dispenders and then make a bottle when shes hungry

I got the flask and powder dispenders from amazon and have been using them since she was born. I can send you links if u like

When my daughter was still on formula I used to carry around a 1.75L thermal bottle with boiling water mixed with a little cold, a bottle (could be rinsed) and a 3 decided formula container with pre measured formula in it

I bring a bottle of just the powder and a separate bottle of clean water and just keep it in the diaper bag and dont mix it up until my LO is ready to eat! Super easy and you dont have to worry about the formula going to waste if your LO doesnt eat it within 2 hours of leaving the house!

My babies didnt even like warm milk once weaned from my milk. So when on formula it was powder mixed with water on the go as needed and never before hand just for hygienic reasons. I kept a can in the car and a case of water bottles and had a bottle from the house in-tow

We carry a formula dispenser pot, sterilised bottles and cold boiled water in a water bottle. Then when we are on the go there is almost always a cafe or something that we just pop into and ask for 2 ounces of boiling water(hot shot) which I then mix with formula before topping up with the cooled water. That way the hot water is killing the bacteria in the powder and it’s a nice warm temp for baby to drink
