So my little girl gets incredibly constipated on cows milk. So we swapped her to oat milk, fixed the problem but she almost goes too far the other way. She still has other dairy like cheese etc but that’s fine. So on Saturday we swapped back to cows milk and she’s now already struggling to poo, so it’s clearly the issue. But I don’t know what to do as on oat milk she’s very loose and can do 4 a day. But on cows milk she’s struggling and crying to poo!! I’m so stuck, doctors are no help!

My baby was exactly the same. Give lactose free milk a try instead of oat milk and see how she gets on. It is still dairy and whole milk, but it is easier for baby to digest. I’m finding my girl is slowly becoming more tolerant to dairy now and we are going to try moving to whole milk from next week. She’s so much better than she was so fingers crossed it will work x

I’ve just moved to plentish barista oat milk. It doesn’t have any of the added nasties such as oils etc. maybe try that and see if less additives helps.
My girl has a cowl milk allergy so have have tried loads of different ‘milks’

Oh ok thank you both, they both sound like good ideas to try. I see that oatly milk literally has oats. Water and salt and I looked at the ingredients of the one I was giving her and it did have a fair few additives in it so I did wonder if that was what was doing it x
