What bag has everyone gone with? Unsure if a mini suitcase would be OTT. And what is everyone packing? 👜

I have like a small hold-all bag for my things and then a small tote bag for babies things 😊 xx

I'm using a suitcase but the hospital let's u take stuff home .

I’ve used a cabin suitcase for me and baby changing bag for baby x

I’ve found some good sites online to help with what to pack. Here is the link https://www.nhs.uk/start-for-life/pregnancy/preparing-for-labour-and-birth/hospital-bag-checklist/

What is everyone taking? It’s a lot of bags, what’s in them 🤣 thank you xx

I’ve used medium sized suitcase I found the cabin sized too small and I’ve put all clothing and my things in suitcase. Then I’ve packed changing bag I got with my pram for nappies, wipes, bottles etc in xx

what did you pack? That sounds like very large bag. I’m using a carryon bag and it’s not even full yet.

I'm using a medium size suitcase also. I was gonna do a small one but when I tried packing just 2 packs of maternity pads and a pack of diapers it would barely close so I was like yaaa we need bigger lool I've used small ziplock bags for babys stuff like long sleeve, short sleeve onesies and I'm taking 2-3 in newborn and 2-3 in 0-3 because I have no clue what size she'll be lol
We're just going with the car and the suitcase has wheels and everything so I'm not too worried about being "overpacked"

I have a medium suitcase for myself and then will take a small one for baby

not that much. Two sets of pjs for me, a longe set & then floaty trousers and T-shirt, wash bag with bits in, small towel, disposable nickers and pads. Then babies clothes 3 0-1month vest and sleepsuits 2 0-3 just in case as our baby is measuring big currently lol, a cardigan and outfit for coming home, hat, blanket. All in suitcase then in changing bag I have a pack of nappies, I am bottle feeding so 2 stater packs of pre made bottles, wipes, soother, nappy bags and a small teddy that my daughter got for baby xx

ooo which changing bag is this? I might do this instead, I keep forgetting how tiny baby stuff are.

Does anyone know what they provide you with at the hospital for after your delivery ?

A medium-sized suitcase for me and my partner, and the changing bag for baby's stuff

I have a small suitcase, a small hold-all bag for baby and my husband also has a small hold-all bag🙈

just a standard amazon one. It has multiple pockets and internal compartments. Mine also has the fold out baby crib style in the back which can double as an extra full size storage pocket. :-)

I’ve got a small suitcase, half with baby stuff half with my stuff. Then will be taking a rucksack or other small ish bag for drinks/snacks, phone charger etc

I have a holdall and backpack, yet I still need to pack more! I'm planning on leaving some of the bits in the car so my partner can run and grab them if needed x

Thank you!

Mini suitcase!

Hold-all suitcase for me and a hold-all suitcase for daddy and baby to share as our unit allows dads to stay 🫶🏻

How many nappies and maternity pads are people taking?

I was planning on taking 6-10 maternity pads. I bought a 10 pack of the li-let ones and they recommended 2 packs which is 20! Am I the only one who thought we would only bleed for 4-6 days afterwards? Apparently it can be up to 6 weeks! I still have so much to learn 😂 xx

I don't know how often to expect to change pads in those first days, presumably it will be like an extra heavy period but the pads are extra absorbent so 🤷🏻♀️

nappies I’m thinking 5-7? Pads, I think I’ll go with adult nappies honestly and I’ll take in maybe 3/4? Idk 😩

I packed about 7 nappies initially but then read online somewhere I won’t go wrong if I take a whole pack 🙈

I might take the whole pack of baby nappies & adult nappies but keep the whole pack in the car and take in a handful? Xx

Cabin suitcase for my stuff and a matching duffel bag with stuff for baby as I don’t want to just squeeze everything together 🤍
