My 14 month has been sleeping with a blanket since she’s been 12 months. When do you think I should put a pillow in her crib?

I put a plush toy in my daughter's crib for comfort and she started laying on it like a pillow. I want to get one but not sure what type yet.

Kids need a pillow when the ratio of their head to body starts being closer to that of an adult. For most children it’s around age 3.

We didnt till right around 3 for our sonz But since you can have stuffies etc, you could put a pillow

Idk when recommended age is but with my oldest (now 15 but at around 1) and daughter who's 14 months both slept/are sleeping with pillows at this age. I started transitioning to their crib from my bed and having better success with a pillow than without. My middle child started with using a pillow in his own bed this past fall when upgrading him to a big boy bed from the crib when we had our daughter, mind you he still did a lot of co-sleeping before and after she was born. I'm just now getting him into his own bed again 🤦♀️ He'd barely sleep on our pillows when he'd co-sleep, but he was used to it with daycare as they never used pillows in cribs or cots for naps as they weren't allowed- which i understand. But my oldest and youngest will spin 360's in their bed while my middle child does not

Mine still moves around too much in the crib for me to think it will be useful so I think I'd wait till she's more stable. She has a lovey and a squishmallow in the crib and I sometimes see her fall back asleep in the middle of the night laying/hugging on the squishmallow 😅
