I had a spontaneous V delivery in January this year & due to a multitude of reasons required 6 weeks of self inhexa injections post partum & tbh you get used to them & they don't hurt that much as long as after you've aministered it you move it around the injection site my rubbing & pushing on the area it prevents your muscle feel very tender & spreads the meds around the area quicker ultimately reducing bruising too! You can do them in your thigh or tummy although after about a week I personally opted to do them on the side of my butt as it's such a big muscle it didn't hurt near as much as my tummy! Just a side note have some antihistamines on hand as some people (myself included) can get very itchy from the blood thinners around the injection site x
