My little girl was showing sings of colic so we tried infacol, gripe water and colief over time, they helped but stopped working quickly and made her constipated. She then developed more symptoms which could be a cmpa, the dr prescribed her gaviscon rather than changing her milk, I only gave it twice as it made her 1000% worse. In the meantime I've switched from kendamill to cow and gate comfort to try and help her, she's now extremely unsettled and very blotchy after feeds. I really don't know how to help her.

Can you push the gp to prescribe hydrolysed formula? My baby is so happy since being diagnosed with CMPI, he has normal pops just once or twice a day now not every nappy being a poopy one, and is happy and alert in his wake windows when before he was so miserable sometimes, was awful. What are her nappies like?

This happened to my daughter. She was on Kendamil. I had to push with the doctor for 2/3 weeks. Finally got prescribed Aptamil pepti 1.
She had mucus/blood in stools. Rash on face which would come and go. Sick constantly. Nasal congestion/hay fever symptoms. All symptoms have improved after changing milk just over a week ago.

Push harder for the right formula id cut out the kendamil it's made with whole milk fats and protein so it's absolutely full of casein which causes the allergy. You need to tell the GP they are giving you a 6 week trial and not leave until they do. GPs barely know anything so you need to demand a trial and an appointment with a dietician or you'll get nowhere x
