37 weeks pregnant
I went for a scan at 36 weeks and they told me baby didn’t have alot of fluid around him so I have to come back for a scan a week later to see if fluid has improved, they have booked my c section for 39 weeks plus 2 days but has said if fluid doesn’t improve I’ll end up going in sooner, has anyone else had any experience with this were the fluid around baby improved? It hurts when he moves about, I’m so uncomfortable 😣

M situation is opposite...on my 32 week scan amniotic fluid was 7.2 n on 35th week appointment it was 7.5 ....it spouse to decrease but in my case that increased..... got a consultation appointment on 36+1 either they wanna do c section or not ...doc said its fine its just minor increased so its fine etc
When I find out the fluid is getting increased they scared me by saying may be baby have gut problem ...
I've had several scans in a short space of time between 32 and 36 wks due to an issue found with baby at 32wk growth scan but I have noted fluid does fluctuate. I googled it and you can increase your fluid by increasing your intake of fluids I.e drinking more. I've had it at 5.5, 6.0, 6.5 & 7.2 (not in that order) all at different scans no one has been concerned about it changing. Do you feel you drink enough fluids?
The reading on your fluid can change depending on the position of baby as well.
Make sure you're drinking enough, but if you can increase how much you're taking in by 2 glasses a day.
On one scan, I had too much. I was scanned 2 days later, and it was back to normal. Sometimes it happens for no reason.
