has any other mamas out there struggled with the baby blues? i feel like im grieving. i’m crying so much, feel hopeless and have so many bad “what ifs” in my head. my man and i tried for MONTHS to conceive our little one even after a miscarriage. when we found out we were pregnant i was scared as it was right after my miscarriage but was also happy looking forward to it. i’m 5 days pp and i feel so guilty because i feel like im not enjoying this phase like i thought i would and im over here rethinking everything and questioning myself if i actually want to be a mom but i know i love my son so much. it would really help to know wether or not other moms experience this. i feel so horrible and im really hoping this doesn’t last long.

This feeling is so so common. You’re not alone in this!! If you ever need to vent my inbox is open! ❤️

thank you so much🫶🏼 i worry because i want to enjoy my time with my son and myself but i feel like im regretting it now :(

Yes it was bad the first few weeks. My baby was preemie and in NICU for 26 days. It gets better. Stay strong 💪

thank you. i have been on lexapro, not sure if i should up my dose now or give it a couple weeks to just see if it’s only the blues vs ppd. i just want to be happy and enjoy my time with my baby :,(

thank you 🫶🏼 hoping this feeling passes sooner than later

my baby was born via induction / emergency c section which also wasn’t in my plan at all and so traumatic its been horrible

my meds helped me a lot honestly. i have no idea wether or not i want to switch it up the dose as i know im also just having a huge dip in my hormones and that could be the main reason causing any of this. i just feel horrible bc im lowkey having regrets of everything for some reason but i think its just because its hard and i dont want to deal with the hard parts

thank you so much🫶🏼

@adi, oh, sorry 😞 I had a therapist that I talked to every week. Hopefully you can get therapy/meds to help you cope

It’s precisely because being a mom matters so much to you that’s why the anxiety and worries have hit hard. It’s natural and hormone driven., try not to read into anything extreme at this point you’re going through a lot xx

I’m right there with you. I wanted to be a mom so bad and now here I am 15 days pp and I’m so depressed and questioning if I actually wanted this. I feel so alone and hopeless and just miserable.

girl you’re not alone. at the end of the day we know we love our babies and have to keep going for them. we have so many hormones all over the place right now that need to level out before we feel better

how long will it take to feel better because this isn’t life. This can’t be my life. I’ve dealt with depression for over 15 years but this is worse

girl i have no idea, it’s worse for me too. they say baby blues can last anywhere from 2-6wks and that if it’s longer it’s typically PPD

that’s awful 😞 I feel alone like I’m doing everything on my own and I still don’t know what I’m doing.

i feel literally the same way. it’s so hard and frustrating but we just hav to have faith that with time it’ll get better

I really hope so. I can’t do this if this is my life from now on. It has to get better.

u can do it girl you already are doing it. right now it’s a mental game that you just need to go through

thank you. You’ve got this too. It helps knowing I’m not going through it alone. Feel free to message me if you ever need to talk, so we don’t feel so alone!

You are not alone!!!! My son came early and in the Nicu now and trust me those wouldas are all over… it’s natural to feel this way..you just gave birth…give yourself grace mama

Hi hunny congrats first. Yes all of this is normal it's a phase 90% of moms go though first timers especially. But it does fade away I can't tell you when or how you need all the support u can get though an just bond with that amazing child. Best of luck
