Help!!

I feel like there are a lot of factors. When’s the last time you had insertion via toy or husband? Are you near your period or maybe ovulation and your insides are more sensitive right now? Did you tear a little bit? Did you kick start your period earlier because of it? Were you too rough? Did you use lubricant? Have you had a pelvic exam in the last couple days or so? You don’t have to answer these if you don’t want to just food for thought!

my husband has been gone for about 4 weeks, we haven’t had any intercourse in about 5-6 weeks, i never use the toy for intercourse, this is the only time i’ve ever done that. my period isn’t supposed to hit until november 22nd, im not sure about ovulation. after having my son sex has always been a bit uncomfortable but it’s never hurt or bled. im not sure if i tore anything, my vagina itself doesn’t hurt just my stomach, where you would get period cramps, it does feel like period cramps as well. i did use lubricant, a lot of it so it just slid right in, i did notice i went a further then my husband ever has. and i haven’t gotten a pelvic exam since after given birth to my son 17 months ago

If anything bumps my cervix (sex, exams, toys) I get similar symptoms. Cramping, a smidge of blood. I thought it was totally normal 😅

for me, if I've ever had at least a week in between having sex, I will bleed a little bit. it also depends on how rough you were with that area. the main thing is if it stopped bleeding after a couple of wipes chances are your fine and just had a small tear from the toy, totally normal even with sex. (I forget the medical term for it but basically there's nothing to worry about) it should heal up no problem on its own.

i freak out over the tiniest things and it’s never happened before, i was assuming it was normal but i wanted to see if anyone else had something like this before, your comment made me feel way more relieved

yeah, as long as you're not in immense pain or bleeding like crazy. I mean, if your still in discomfort tomorrow or have more pain check with a doc to be safe otherwise you should be alright

It's likely you've just caused a bit of bruising as it was bigger than you're used to and the bleeding is probably irritation you were likely either a bit dry and have irritated inside and caused the bleed or bumped your cervix and it's caused a little period blood to leak early which stops almost immediately and isn't of concern. I've had a few cervix bruises in my time the most recent being where I was a few days out from labour starting and my cervix had dropped down ready we didn't realise went at it and he caused me pain I was a bit sore for a day or two but it went quickly

it was all good up until about 20 minutes ago. i woke up around 3 am bleeding all over the bed sheets but nothing hurts or is bothering me, could it be i kickstarted a period?

I'd say its fine, using a toy for the first time and it being bigger, it likely irritated your cervix, if the pain is unbearable and you bleed heavily then get checked out. Maybe use lots of lube and warm yourself up before inserting again, take it slow and not to hard to start
