It’s probably an infection, is it oozing goo? If it gets worse and feels wet/sticky go to the doctors and they’ll give you some antibiotics xx

it isn’t oozing or anything. It is a little red in places which is where I had my previous stretch marks which is what the midwife said was irritated but it’s just the smell that is unpleasant x

It's probably sweat build up keep it clean and roll up a maternity pad and wedge it in to wick away moisture. I was advised this when they thought mine was infected it wasn't it was summer I was hot and sweaty

Same. 🫣 it’s pretty gross. My mom looked at mine though, she’s had 3 C-section, and says it looks good. I haven’t mentioned it to my Dr. I don’t have red, oozing or fever so I’m not thinking infection.

Get checked by your Dr could be an infection

Mine was the same, I just kept ensuring it was dry throughout the day and now a week later its gone x

I used nothing but water for 4 weeks. The second I used anything I had the same problem. I stopped using it and cleaned it every day for a week with witch hazel and it went away. 9 weeks on I can use soap here and there but not often and not much.
Water is enough this early on x

Infection hun mine was the same x

I would get it checked on the basis it has a smell, mine is infected and this was the main thing.

My doctor advised using a blow dryer with low heat every item I got the shower to make sure it was completely
Dry

I would get it looked at as it could be an infection.
I used Octenisan antimicrobial wash as it was given to me by one of the midwives and it was fab xx

I had this! Made sure I was using a cool hair dryer to dry it EXTRA after shower. I also used medicated Talc which leaves a pretty smell on it :)

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you
