I’m so upset. I lost all the baby weight from my first pregnancy (35lbs) and I’m pregnant again. I was 175lbs and I was actively trying to lose more weight. Now that I’m pregnant my belly is so big already and I’m only 9w4d. I’ve only gained 4lbs so it doesn’t make any sense. I’m so frustrated.
My husband jokes that I stopped being fat when I said I was pregnant.

Weight gain is a touchy subject for so many pregnant mamas. It's very common to show sooner with subsequent pregnancies because your body has already been through it. That's why your belly is already big. It's ok and normal.
Concentrate on a healthy pregnancy and try to work through your feelings which are valid and also can become a challenge to a Joyful pregnancy.
You can lose the weight again especially if you're active this pregnancy. For personal reference I gained 50, 60, 50, 50 lbs with each baby. The first 2 I dropped easily. #3 took a little more work and #4 is taking more effort but I'm also not Hard pressed so I've embraced gradual
I have ab separation that I was working on too. So it’s making everything worse. I just look overweight. I’m not even getting a chance to have another cute bump.

If you can enroll in a program, that's best, whether a local Physiotherapist that specializes in pregnancy or one of the programs I mentioned.

All is not lost, trust me.
thank you for these resources. I did try PT soon after having my first but I’ve been ‘stuck’ and my new insurance isn’t accepted with them.
