My bub isn't doing so great with solids at nearly 11 months. She's been BF on demand so far but I'm having to go to work (normally WFH) for a few days soon.
How much expressed milk should I leave at home? Dad will have bub for the day.

Edit: Also, how much milk should they be having per "feed"? And how do I make sure I pump enough? God, so many questions and don't get me started on the anxiety 🙈 haven't been away from baby longer than an hour since birth hence this situation! Assuming I'll have to pump at work to keep up supply but how often do I do this? (Will be doing 8 hrs)

I have recently stopped BF, but if I was, and in your situation, I’d probably try to leave 2 or 3x 4 or 5oz for 8 hours, Depending how much baby normally feeds from you.

If you’re not against it, maybe leave a couple of bottles of ready made formula just in case? I know that I’d struggle to pump that amount.

I’d then make sure you feed just before you go, then maybe pump twice at work, then feed when you get home. One or two days away shouldn’t massively alter your supply.
Obviously I don’t know your normal feeding schedule, but that’s what I would have done 😊 x

My little one has just started dropping feeds in the last week or so as she’s got more into eating solids. Before she was having three big feeds a day (she’s never really been a snacker) I was sending her to nursery with 500 ml of milk which she was having most of over 2-3 feeds.

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
