I feel like I like my baby more when she sleeps. I feel guilty because her wake windows are still only about an hour and a half, sometimes less, so I feel like I’m constantly putting her down for a nap. We are putting her I. Her crib for naps and she sleeps in Her crib at night as well. I guess I feel like I’m not holding or cuddling my baby and maybe that will mess her up. I play with her and do face time with her but she gets fussy when I try to cuddle her. Idk I’m a first time mom and maybe I’m reading to much into it.

Don’t worry mama 😀 As long as she’s sleeping well at night, it’s okay for your baby to be constantly napping during the daytime. My baby just had a 2.5hr nap. Woke up for a feeding. And 20minutes later she’s back to napping again as I type this 😂 babies know when to eat and sleep too! They know what they need!

thank you so much 😭😭 I just feel bad like I’m constantly putting her in her crib and not spending time with her. But she is def a good sleeper. And recently started sleeping through the night!

Maybe do one contact nap a day with her? It's not bad for her to lay down. As long as you're playing with her and engaging with her she'll be fine. They need to sleep a lot right now and don't need much else

I feel you! I actually had a similar post a while back, asking if I really should be spending more time with my baby when all she did all day was nap. Now she’s turning 3 month soon and her wake window has noticeably increased, demanding more attention from us than before. So enjoy your “me time” while you still can!! 🤣

@Sandy before 3 months they're actually fully capable of entertaining themselves all the time(minus obviously needing fed and changed and comfort occasionally)

she just turned 3 months and I have noticed that she is needed a bit more attention. She recognizes me and my boyfriend and gets upset when we are out of her sight. She has also gotten a lot more fussy! She was miss independent until about 4 days ago. She was born aug 10. But the me time is very nice!

I was doing at least one contact nap for a while but it seems she fusses know when I try to hold her to sleep rather than putting her in her crib.

@Stevie well she may just prefer the crib. It won't be too long before she wants to play all the time and you won't have enough energy and attention to give.

Don’t worry, babies sleep a lot at this age and I’ve put my baby down in his bassinet for naps since the beginning because I have chronic tension in my back from my first baby (carried him constantly) so you never know what will happen but don’t feel bad ❤️ you’re a great mom
