How do you get your baby to sleep through the night? My baby is almost 1 year and still wakes multiple times at night and I am so tired

Try to recognize when your baby is actually hungry, when my baby was waking up every 3 hours I breastfed the first time, the next one I just hold her until she falls asleep again and the next one I gave her milk again, and try to offer 3 meals and 2 snacks during the day

White noise! My son is going to be 3 on the 25 and I’ve been using white noise since he was a year and a half because of the same thing!

I try to play with my son throughout the day so he dosent take multiple naps and be up at night his last bottle is at 10 and he dosent get up until 7am when he was younger we used white noise

I’ve heard its normal for breastfed babies to not sleep through the night for a while. My son still wakes up 1-3 times a night. He’s only slept through the night once. You’re not alone mama!

if you are giving enough food and milk during the day, I don’t think your kid is very hungry during the night, you just have to learn how to soothe your kid without your nipple, nothing wrong if you love to do it, but I learn how to do it without breastfeeding and she started to sleep better

Actually even non breastfed babies wake up through the night, and this is developmentally normal! There is nothing wrong with your baby/and it is actually not anything you are doing wrong. If you want to make changes regardless, it is totally possible! I would think of using white noise (if you haven’t already), make sure baby is not uncomfortable (temperature, pain, teething), get as many help as you can from husband or other person, but I think the most important is to manage expectations about what our babies should be doing and understanding that they cannot meet their need without us so separation at night is a bit of a struggle for them (we ourselves will wake up thirsty sometimes, and our sleep is not always the same. It is the same thing for babies.). Watch for too long naps during the day, make sure baby is moving around and playing a lot during the day so they are tired at night!

We have used Taking Cara Babies and it’s worked super well for us. Our 11 month old baby is happily sleeping through the night! Their site has tons of free resources that could probably help, and paid courses as well.

I’m on the same boat! My baby will be 1 in less than 2 weeks and still wakes up 2-3 times at night. I feel tired everyday 🥲 He’s bottle fed not breastfed and we’ve been playing white noise since he was born. I’m sorry I’m no help, just wanted to let you know you’re not alone!

I’m also struggling with 3+ wake ups overnight and wanting to nurse. I think she’s getting g close to walking but man I am exhausted! We tried the taking Cara babies 2 months ago and it helped to reduce the number of wake ups. But they’ve ramped back up. Just wanted to say you’re not alone and I bet you’re doing all the right things 💕

Wdy think of this for a toddler to learn word construction?

I'm open to anything else to start teaching him to read and write. He's 3!

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Car seat crying

My 6 month old PANICS the second I put him in a car seat and screams, cries, chokes and recently even projectile vomited on a 14 minute drive. It’s gotten to the point I don’t even bring him out unless it’s to a doctors appointment. I’m a stay at home mom with no family in my state and it has been very isolating. We’ve tried 3 different car seats with no improvement. Has anyone had a baby who hated the car seat? Any advice? This started at 3 months. I will add it does seem worse when he’s tired. He does cry on every trip though. He only contact naps and co sleeps so he reaches for me and will not sleep in the car seat.

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7
