Not exactly true since I’ve been feeling kind of ick the whole pregnancy, but I drank just a little water this morning while still in bed and immediately had to run to the bathroom and hack it up. I’ve never heard of water being a trigger and now I’m not sure what to do. Do I eat something? Drink something else? Any and all advice welcome.

Everyone keeps saying to eat little snacks, crackers or crackers and cheese or something so your stomach is never empty. Last night I threw up a couple hours after taking my prenatals and when we were going up to bed, I almost threw up while going up the stairs and barely made it to the toilet, I had sipped a lot of water! It may have just been your empty stomach really.
I bought those seabands but need to remember to wear them to see if it helps with the constant nausea.

Iced lemon water helped me... And fizzy water

This was/is me!!! It started around 6/7 weeks so I started adding in some cranberry juice. I’m good on ice cold water now though. I’ve heard this is super common and that is should pass sometime in the second trimester. Try to eat before drinking water if you can.

Same here. If you figure it out, let me know! Hah. for a minute, water closer to ph neutral (Fiji water, core hydration) seemed to be okay but, this morning… I’ve never been so queasy in my entire life. The only liquid I can stomach right now is ice cold Minute Maid lemonade with a splash of MM Fruit Punch and I’m quite sick of it 🥲

I’ve been nauseous for a bit but the one time I threw up, same thing. Drank a small glass of water upon waking, my husband heard me say that was a mistake, and then puked up 4x the water I drank 😂

I haven’t been able to drink water either even sippin on it is terrible. I have turned to ice and yellow Gatorade.

I am 11 weeks and have not been able to drink water the entire pregnancy. Electrolyte drinks or smoothies are easier. If I have some food first, I can have a little water, but I mostly stick to high liquid foods to keep hydrated. Also cranberry juice. For some reason that is just my thing rn
