I had a really high temp. I went back to a and e and they did another scan and found retained tissue. Sorry I are going through this 💔

You need to keep testing your HG levels and if they do not go to negative within 3 weeks ring the early pregnancy unit!
Sorry for your loss

I went back 10 days after my first round of medical management, and the bleeding was still like a period type flow- even though I had been told to expect to bleed for a couple of weeks, the sonographer was surprised when I explained what the amount of bleeding was like. My tests had faded but were still positive. Then I was given a second round of medication and told to return in another 10 days. By then, I was barely spotting and my tests were really, really faint- I assumed all was fine as it still hadn’t been 3 weeks (when they told me I should test negative). But I still had a piece of retained tissue, so needed surgery after that to remove it.

I found out when I went back after 2 weeks, it showed up on the scan. They sent me home and said it should pass within the next 2 weeks. Then do a pregnancy test, if it is positive, then come back.

I was bleeding heavily still 3 weeks after medical management, early pregnancy unit called me back in for a scan and bloods, scan showed retained tissue along with raised hcg levels still. Had a second lot of pessaries and I’m back in on Friday for another scan to follow up.

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
