Birthday Party 🎉

I usually throw my son a birthday party but I unfortunately have no friends with kids his age .. so no kids usually come which is kind of sad . He loves playing with others , this year we planning on taking him to Lego land but if this plan fails , I’ll be throwing him a birthday party . Does anyone have 4-5 year olds that would love to party??

We are doing Lego land ! But I feel you. Is he in vpk ?

Yess we actually are getting to take him to Lego land in like 2 weeks . So everything worked out , and no , well he’s in prek but it’s with a speech program so not really with too many kids . He’s got a speech delay (His speech is a lot better now though)

my two year old has autism and a speech delay so I get it. Is he in early steps ?

I actually chose to go my own route rather then with early steps just because they weren’t really giving me any in person therapy options . They were only giving me video therapy options , i have a 2 year old with speech delay too . It’s hard , especially when it comes to them making friends

yes I do one online therapy with early steps but just behavioral therapy and I pay for private for occupational and speech therapy. Early steps did offer me in person therapy but I was waiting so long I went the private route. If you ever wanna chat about it message me! Our boys are the same age and we go through similar things

Pregnant with baby 2

Hi everyone! I gave birth via emergency c section 9 months ago as my baby boy was measuring big, he pooped inside so there was risk of him inhaling it and I wasn’t progressing past 3cm to have a natural birth and now I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby. I’m having a consultation on Tuesday to talk about birth options and to have any questions answered but I don’t know what to ask. I feel like it would be safer having a c section again but at the same time I don’t want a c section. Does anyone have any question ideas I could ask or any advice/stories of similar situations. Tia

Side affects, long term dependency, supply shortages and costs, regaining the weight back as soon as you get off them.. all that ASIDE how do people not see just from a zoomed out perspective how crazy it is. I can’t imagine being someone facing food insecurity in an underdeveloped country and watching westerners give themselves daily jabs so they can lose weight while still eating a calorie surplus/ crappy foods. It’s giving hunger games when district 12 Katniss finds out at the party at the capital that people eat and then take a pill to make themselves sick so they can 🤮 and eat some more. These ads running ozempic everywhere are disgusting, and then getting amazing athletes like Serena Williams to push them talking bout “i’ve never been healthier” girl you were an OLYMPIC athlete wym??

C section compression socks

Hey ladies when did you ditch the compression socks and how mobile were you when you did? I’m so done with them! 6 weeks tomorrow since the op and im walking around the house doing jobs and baby care but not really out and about yet (the odd day I am) is it safe to ditch the socks?

Getting pregnant after c section

When did you get pregnant again after a c section? Our plan was always to have 2 under 2 but that is now out the window because I had an emergency section. I know they say 18 months and we will be sticking to it (as much as I don’t want to) but I’m curious how quickly you got pregnant after your section?
