First baby was Covid so we didn’t get date nights until he was quite a bit older lol. Second baby we’re just so busy so she was 8 months when we had our first date night 😅

My first was 6 weeks when we’d left her with my partners parents for a few hours for a date night x

6 weeks for 6 hours, I found the older he got (he’s now 6 months) the less I want to leave him with anyone as only I know how to get him to sleep and what he needs and wants and he can be quite particular so I’d say whilst there teeny tiny and all they need is a cuddle, milk and hugs, make the most of it!! Because once they start turning into there own little person with there own personalised needs, everyone else will have to learn that to x

VBAC after 2 c sections

Hi everyone. My daughter is 13 months old and I have her via c section last August due to failure to progress. Everything else was fine apart from that. My son is 10 and I had a c section with him too. I want to start trying for another baby next year and would really love to hear if anyone had any positive stories about a vbac after 2 c sections x

Pain ?

I’m exactly 31 weeks with twins and since last night my tail bone and ribs and random cramps (I can’t find a pattern in them but I am in so much pain in general I am struggling to tell what’s caused by what) have been so painful. I thought I’d be able to sleep it off like I do most things but it’s remained.

Babies are moving around so I know they’re okay but I’m not sure if I need to get checked? I’m already dealing with a kidney blockage that can’t be fixed til I give birth so I’m not sure if it’s that or not

No scan date yet?

I’m 11+5 and I self refered at 6 weeks. My midwife appointment went well at 9 weeks but I still haven’t heard anything from the hospital 😬 should I get in touch with them? It’s a hospital I’ve not been to before so I don’t know how last minute they can be but it’s making me super anxious that I haven’t heard yet 🫣

Bleeding

I am 11+4 and woke up this morning with quite a bit of pink watery bleeding. I would not call this spotting as had quite a bit. Have some very mild cramping with it.
Currently sitting in the maternity hospital waiting to be seen and need some support

Big baby

I’ve just had a growth scan at 36+3 and baby is currently weighing 8lbs 1oz.
I have a consultation appointment tomorrow to discuss further. My first was born at 39+3 and weighed 8lbs 3oz (I was induced) so I’m quite shocked at nearly 3 and a half weeks to go he’s so big. Did anyone else have something similar to this and how did it work out?

First birthday ideas

Our little ones are turning one soon and I’m not okay! 😭

I don’t know what to do for my son’s birthday. Naturally, he doesn’t have friends (except a cashier at Tesco 😅) and none of our friends have children.

I want to do something for his birthday but likewise he won’t remember it so I don’t really want to spend an arm and leg on it.

We are thinking of taking him to the aquarium (perks of being a winter baby - everything has to be indoors) and I’m going to make him a cake but what else can I do to make it special for him?

I wanted to decorate the lounge with balloons and streamers but I have double height ceilings so it’s impossible 😅

What can I do to make it special for him without throwing a party for a bunch of child- free adults 😅😅
