First birthday ideas
Our little ones are turning one soon and I’m not okay! 😭
I don’t know what to do for my son’s birthday. Naturally, he doesn’t have friends (except a cashier at Tesco 😅) and none of our friends have children.
I want to do something for his birthday but likewise he won’t remember it so I don’t really want to spend an arm and leg on it.
We are thinking of taking him to the aquarium (perks of being a winter baby - everything has to be indoors) and I’m going to make him a cake but what else can I do to make it special for him?
I wanted to decorate the lounge with balloons and streamers but I have double height ceilings so it’s impossible 😅
What can I do to make it special for him without throwing a party for a bunch of child- free adults 😅😅

I’m just booking a table at a restaurant for friends and family and that’s about it. Like you say babas won’t remember this birthday, so why not just do something you want to do, as baba will be happy just being with you.

I have the same problem! I was thinking of just doing a little do at home with close friends and family, a little buffet or afternoon tea type thing! I don’t want to spend loads of money on something he won’t remember and the fact he has no baby friends 😅 but equally want it to be special given it’s his 1st!! 🎈🎈

VBAC after 2 c sections
Hi everyone. My daughter is 13 months old and I have her via c section last August due to failure to progress. Everything else was fine apart from that. My son is 10 and I had a c section with him too. I want to start trying for another baby next year and would really love to hear if anyone had any positive stories about a vbac after 2 c sections x

Pain ?
I’m exactly 31 weeks with twins and since last night my tail bone and ribs and random cramps (I can’t find a pattern in them but I am in so much pain in general I am struggling to tell what’s caused by what) have been so painful. I thought I’d be able to sleep it off like I do most things but it’s remained.
Babies are moving around so I know they’re okay but I’m not sure if I need to get checked? I’m already dealing with a kidney blockage that can’t be fixed til I give birth so I’m not sure if it’s that or not

No scan date yet?
I’m 11+5 and I self refered at 6 weeks. My midwife appointment went well at 9 weeks but I still haven’t heard anything from the hospital 😬 should I get in touch with them? It’s a hospital I’ve not been to before so I don’t know how last minute they can be but it’s making me super anxious that I haven’t heard yet 🫣

Bleeding
I am 11+4 and woke up this morning with quite a bit of pink watery bleeding. I would not call this spotting as had quite a bit. Have some very mild cramping with it.
Currently sitting in the maternity hospital waiting to be seen and need some support

Names
We really stuck between two names for our little girl. We had picked Jessie but now arent too sure. We both love Lillie but think its too close to a family members kid Millie. Which do you think?
