I’m trying to get away from screen time at all costs (minimal at certain times) but my point is diaper changes have been a struggle with my 18 mo old. Any tips and tricks?

An easy to clean toy in case they throw it in their diaper. I will give him an empty pack of wipes or his comb if I’m reaching for things near by.

My LO likes holding a book, but the remote or a toy he doesn’t see much does the trick too!

Another diaper, a toy, a pack of wipes, a wipe, a water bottle, a random piece of trash Ive found. Lol

Think like a baby! Lol I make into a little game and he doesn't try to run as much

Best part about being a mom is how crazy we get to look when getting creative😂

Booked, small toys, the diaper or wipe lol anything in arms reach

I give them anything near by but never my phone. I would be too afraid it would get poop on it. I think it mostly about breaking out of the habit of using a screen as the first option. We have toys and books all over the place so baby or us can grab one easily.

I try to sing songs or give her wipes or a book, but my daughter hates diaper changes too🤦🏻♀️

He's amazed by his Diaper rash cream. So anything with a top he can open /close

I watched my sister change LO diaper with no issues but any time it's me or dad, it turns in WWE lol

I either sing songs with him or if he pooped and he is busy playing I will ask him if he pooped. Then he usually says yeah and I will let him know we are about to change his diaper and ask him what toy he wants to take with him to change his diaper. He will go pick out what he wants to play with and then we go with that.

how old is your lo?

18 months
